Charis Salon in Warsaw Cuts the Ribbon

Oct 29, 2018

With a great turnout of family, friends and supporters present, the Wyoming County Chamber and Tourism hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of the new Charis Salon with business owners Sarah Flint and Breanna Salamone, on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the business located at 108 North Main Street, Warsaw.

After working together at another salon for the past two years and dreaming of opening their own salon, Breanna Salamone and Sarah Flint discussed the possibility and decided to set out on their own.  They agreed on the new venture based on their shared values, and similar backgrounds, and a mutual understanding and respect for one another. Sarah Flint is the salon’s nail technician, graduating from the Continental School of Beauty in 2017. Breanna Salamone has been shadowing in local salons from an early age and graduated as a cosmetologist from the Continental School of Beauty in 2015.

They decided to name the business Charis Salon, based on their mutual ideal of the word “grace” and what it means to them. The word Charis comes from the Greek and is pronounced “Kares” and means showing compassion and kindness to others. The new salon atmosphere is designed to be a welcoming and safe place for clients to be pampered and to feel at home. The owners want their clients to feel special and know that they come first in the business. Breanna and Sarah are accepting new clients and encourage everyone to visit their website www.charissalon.com and to follow them on Facebook and Instagram.
