THE CHAMBER AND TOURISM OFFICE IS INVITING EVERYONE TO HELP NOMINATE THE WYOMING COUNTY BUSINESSES OF THE YEAR FOR 2021

Sep 9, 2021

The Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism office is inviting the public to nominate their favorite business to be considered for one of the “business of the year” awards that the Chamber annually presents. Awards will be given for Small Business (1-10 employees), Large Business (11+ employees), Agri-Business (any size involved in agriculture industry), Tourism Business (i.e. restaurant, shops, breweries), Tourism Attraction (i.e. larger hospitality/tourism sector venues), and Most Promising New Business (less than 2 years old).

Anyone may make a nomination, and you may nominate up to six businesses (one nomination per category). Nominations can be made by visiting www.WyCoChamber.org and clicking on the nomination form. Simply enter the business name, select the nomination type, and state the reasons for the award. You may be contacted for additional information or clarification. You may also print the form and submit it to The Wyoming County Chamber at 36 Center Street, Warsaw, NY 14569.

The criteria for selecting award recipients is based on actions such as an expansion projects, job growth, community involvement, or for contributions to the strength of a particular industry sector.

The nominated business must be a member of the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce. If unsure, please visit the Chamber’s online membership directory available on the website. Once all the nominations are in and closed, the Chamber's Board of Directors will vote on the nominees and select the winners. Nominations will be accepted until 5:00 PM on Friday, September 24, 2021. For questions please call the Chamber at (585) 786-0307. The awards will be presented to the winners at a reception later in October.
