“Wyoming County is a state leader in maple production, and originated Maple Weekends,” said Eric Szucs, Director of Tourism for Wyoming County, “So this is the epicenter of all things maple in New York, and an excellent opportunity to see how syrup goes from the tap to your table. It’s educational, it’s fun, and you can purchase an array of maple goodies made on the farm by our incredibly talented producers. They are two amazing weekends visitors look forward to all year long.”
“Maple Weekends is a great opportunity for Wyoming County to showcase our many unique farms,” said Ken Kehl, maple producer and Wyoming County Maple Producers Association member. “Our producers have been doing this for generations, and there is an immense sense of pride in what they do. Every stop you make, you’ll learn something new, see something different, and hear stories about not just the maple production process, but the history of the farm, the family and how they pour their heart and soul into making delicious maple syrup.”
