WYOMING COUNTY CHAMBER & TOURISM ANNOUNCES ANNUAL AWARD WINNERS

The Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism office is pleased to announce the 2021 award winners for Large, Small, Agri-Business, Tourism Attraction, Tourism Business, and Most Promising New businesses of the year. The Chamber again invited the public to nominate businesses, and the Board of Directors voted on the finalists based a number of great nominations in each category.

This year’s awardees are:
Large Business of the Year – JN White in Perry, NY
Small Business of the Year – Vertical Café in Warsaw, NY
Agri-Business of the Year – Green’s Hoof Trimming in Warsaw, NY
Tourism Attraction of the Year – The Apple-Umpkin Festival, in Wyoming, NY
Tourism Business of the Year – The Castile Cider Mill in Castile, NY
Most Promising New Business of the Year – Endlessly Outdoors Company in Perry, NY

“We were excited to receive a number of great nominations from across the community, and we sincerely congratulate the winners for their many contributions to the quality of life and economic vitality of Wyoming County,” said Scott Gardner, president and CEO of the Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism office. “These awardees represent diverse services and industries and some of the very best that Wyoming County has to offer. We are sincerely pleased as an organization, to recognize them for their continued growth and success.”

“We are very grateful for all the excellent nominations and it was a thoughtful process in selecting these outstanding awardees,” said Norb Fuest, Chairman of the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. “Each of these businesses and organizations are contributing to the economy in countless ways and creating a better community for all the residents and visitors to Wyoming County.”

Awardees were nominated and selected based on criteria that includes their contributions to the economic vitality and quality of life of Wyoming County; capital investments; business expansions; job growth and retention; community involvement; and their contributions that strengthen their particular business sector in Wyoming County.

The Chamber of Commerce will host the annual awards reception at Byrncliff Golf Resort and Banquets, 2357 Humphrey Road, Varysburg, on Thursday, October 28 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The reception will include heavy grazing stations, tickets are $30.00 per person and can be purchase online or by phone at 585-786-0307.
