WYOMING COUNTY CHAMBER & TOURISM HOSTS ANNNUAL AWARDS RECEPTION

The Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism was pleased to host the 2016 Awards winners for Large, Small, and Tourism businesses of the year at the Chamber’s Annual Award reception which was held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Glen Iris Inn, Letchworth State Park.

This year’s award winners are:

Upstate Door of Warsaw/Castile as 2016 Large Business of the Year

Spotlight Theater of Warsaw as 2016 Small Business of the Year

Jam in the Valley in Sheldon as the 2016 Tourism Business of the Year

These three businesses represent everything that is good and vibrant within Wyoming County’s business community. Upstate Door as Large Business of the Year was selected for its continued growth and investment in Wyoming County, the good jobs it provides and the quality products it produces.

Spotlight Theater as Small Business of the Year was selected for the investment in the business and growth from a single screen to a three screen theater experience, providing their customers a “big-city” movie theater experience right here in Wyoming County. They also provide a number of jobs and help to improve the quality of life in the County.

 Jam in the Valley as Tourism Business of the Year has grown tremendously as a premier event in the past twenty three years and brings top entertainers and tens of thousands of visitors to Wyoming County each year. These visitors are not only visiting Jam in the Valley as an attraction, but they are shopping in Wyoming County businesses and adding to the overall positive impact on the economy.    

The annual 2016 Agri-Business of the Year award was previously given to the Marquart Companies at the Pride of Agriculture Dinner on March 8, 2016.
