Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism Joins with New Owners to Officially “Cut the Ribbon” at Dream Lake Campground

May 21, 2015

New ownership and management is offering a fresh perspective and fun opportunities at Dream Lake Campground in Warsaw, NY. The Wyoming County Chamber and Tourism was pleased to celebrate with Patty and Keith Jarnot, at a ribbon cutting on Thursday, May 21, 2015 to welcome them and help kick off the first big camping weekend of the year.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are very pleased to join with Patty and Keith to open the campground under their flag and welcome them as new operators of the facility,” said Scott Gardner, Chamber President. “They are solid local people and know the value of this attraction to the greater community. We thank them for their commitment to Dream Lake and to making Wyoming County a great place to bring the family.”

“I grew up camping with my family and believe that it’s a great experience for families to bond and grow together. Camping promotes dedicated family time and we are very pleased to be able to offer that for other families. Our focus is to ensure that Dream Lake Campground is a fun, family friendly, relaxing location for our guests to spend a weekend or the entire summer,” said Patty Jarnot. “When the opportunity presented itself, we made the decision to take on the campground as a new adventure. My husband and I are still working full-time and manage the campground together. It is great that our whole family is part of the team, and it will provide valuable lessons for our kids and leave a legacy for them in many ways.”

Located at 4391 Old Buffalo Road in the Town of Warsaw, Dream Lake Campground is the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time with friends and family. Since taking over in November 2014, Patty and Keith Jarnot along with their children Kaleb and Makenna have been hard at work to prepare the campground for visitors this year and are excited to help make some great memories for their guests.

With 100 sites, including 37 seasonal spots, you have the option to reserve a site in the sun, woods or even lakeside.  Dream Lake Campground's sites are spacious and some can hold units up to 100 feet in length.   Dream Lake Campground is set on a 5 acre lake which offers fishing, canoeing, paddle boats, a beach and swimming area. The facilities include a camp store; rental cabins and trailers; a recreation hall with kitchen for snacks and/or meals; two bath houses; and laundry facilities. There is also plenty of activities including miniature golf; pedal carts; basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, a playground, and hiking paths. Campers will enjoy themed weekends and activities suited for children and adults. They have also added a bounce house with a slide and water feature. Patty and Keith are also partnering with other local businesses including Adventure Calls Outfitters for group adventures at Letchworth State Park and a “Lake Regatta” this summer.

The Jarnot’s encourage everyone to check out their new website www.dreamlakecampground.com and Facebook page to see what Dream Lake Campground has to offer.
