WYOMING COUNTY CHAMBER & TOURISM OPENS TOURISM KIOSK AT THE RURAL ARTS CENTER IN PERRY

Oct 4, 2017

The Wyoming County Chamber and Tourism is pleased to announce that it has partnered with the Rural Arts Center to open a tourism information kiosk in the front entrance of the Rural Arts Center located at 21-23 South Main Street in Perry, NY.

The newly placed racks contain brochures and information on everything from Wyoming County Travel Guides, local area information on tourism attractions, and brochures from local businesses across Wyoming County. In addition to the kiosk being a source of information, it greets visitors into the Rural Arts Center to experience current art exhibits on display and to visit the gift shop filled with locally produced arts, gifts, and novelties.

“We are very pleased to partner with the Rural Arts Center to make this important local tourism information available for visitors to our area. We encourage everyone to send visitors to the kiosk,” said Chamber President Scott Gardner. “This is an easy to find and great opportunity to share all the outstanding tourism attractions and businesses located in Wyoming County.”

"In the spirit of Wyoming County Tourism efforts, the Rural Arts Center is featuring oil painter and business owner Dee Crouse from Arcade, NY. A Welcome Reception, October 12 from 5-7pm will kick off October's featured exhibition. Dee Crouse brings to light the comfort and beauty that makes Wyoming County home. We can't wait to see everyone this month and beyond at the Rural Arts Center,” said Rural Arts Center Director Jameson Riling.

The tourism kiosk located in the Rural Arts Center entryway offers free materials to the public and will be open 24 hours per day. The regular hours for the Rural Arts Center are Saturdays 8:00AM-4:00PM, Sunday 10:00AM-4:00PM, and by appointment at 585-969-4086.

Please call the Wyoming County Chamber and Tourism office at 585-786-0307 to get more information about available space at the kiosk.
