The Wyoming County Chamber and Tourism was pleased to welcome business owner Stefano DiMartino to Warsaw with a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 20, 2015. The celebration was held to officially open the new Stefano’s New York Style Pizza and Ristorante, located at 12 North Main Street. He was joined by employees, family, friends and dignitaries to cut the ribbon at the new downtown business.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are very pleased to welcome Stefano DiMartino to Warsaw’s downtown. The restaurant is a fantastic addition to Main Street,” said Scott Gardner, Chamber President. “It’s great to see another family friendly restaurant that is serving unique foods, and providing jobs in the community.”
Stefano has been involved in the restaurant business since he was a small child, and the idea to open his own restaurant evolved over time. He wanted to offer customers another dining choice in the Warsaw area.
“Since our soft opening on March 4th, business has been great and there’s been a lot of interest,” said Stefano DiMartino. “The restaurant has a new look and we hope to be known for the “little things” that make our food special. I am thankful that the community has been very welcoming and happy to see the restaurant open at this location.”
Stefano manages the restaurant with help from his four employees. It is a family friendly restaurant that serves popular Italian fare with familiar flavors. Specialties of the house include Alfredo and Carbonara dishes. The pizza and bread dough are made fresh daily and sauces are also made from scratch. Stefano did most of the interior remodel work himself with the help of family members. The dining area has a bright new look, and seats approximately forty people. The restaurant sports an old fashioned theme from Warsaw’s past, with an Italian twist. Customers can also see their food being prepared on the “old-fashioned” brick oven that has been installed.
Stefano’s is open for dine-in or delivery, Sunday 4 – 9 PM, Monday thru Wednesday 11AM – 9 PM, and Thursday thru Saturday 11 AM until 12 AM.
