WYOMING COUNTY CHAMBER ANNOUNCES ARCADE MAIN & MORE FOR OCTOBER 1, 2015

Sep 14, 2015

Wyoming County Chamber & Tourism is pleased to once again partner with the Arcade Area Chamber of Commerce to host Arcade’s Main & More event on Thursday, October 1, 2015, from 4:00-8:00 PM. The event starts at the Main Street Grille, 246 Main Street, and guides visitors along the downtown Main Street corridor for a relaxing evening of visiting downtown merchants and their partner businesses.

The event is free and includes refreshments at stops throughout the event. Commemorative event glasses will be available for $5.00 each the night of the event.

The concept is simple, Main Street businesses partner with businesses outside the business district corridor giving visitors double the opportunity to learn more about local merchants, and the off-main street businesses an opportunity to share all that they have to offer. Visitors receive a map at the beginning and are encouraged to visit all the businesses on the map where they receive a ‘check-in’ stamp. When the map is completed, participants are entered to win door prizes that are donated by the participating merchants.

“This is a fun event that brings customers to downtown businesses and offers a unique opportunity to learn more about what is available locally. It’s also a great time mingling with friends and neighbors,” said Scott Gardner, President of the Wyoming County Chamber and Tourism office. “By combining the off-main and main street businesses, both the business owners and customers get twice the opportunity for exposure and networking. This has been a very successful event in past years, and I thank everyone involved for making it another great success.”

New for this year is the ability for visitors to purchase a unique “Arcade Main & More swag bag.” For $10, participants will get a “swag bag” that they will take from business to business throughout the event, and receive a special ‘gift’ from each participating business. You must pre-register for the “swag bags” at www.wycochamber.org as they are only available to the first 50 people who pre-register.
