The votes have been counted and the community has spoken! With 700 votes cast, the Wyoming County Chamber is pleased to announce that the winner of the Best Burger in Wyoming County is the Bliss Bar and Grill, located at 3396 School Street, in Bliss, NY.
Fifteen local business were nominated for this fun summertime contest. The Bliss Bar and Grill will receive a beautifully engraved plaque graciously donated by Brenda Kelly at Tackbary’s Trophies & Gifts.
“There were so many excellent nominations and the voting was strong across the County. We had a tremendous response from everyone who nominated and took time to cast a vote for their favorite burger,” said Scott Gardner, CEO of the Wyoming County Chamber and Tourism office. “Congratulations to Rena Evans at the Bliss Bar and Grill for winning Wyoming County’s Best Burger title. This fun contest proved that customers are passionate about their favorite places to get a burger in Wyoming County. I encourage everyone to go out and try a burger and support all our amazing local businesses.”
Nominations were originally collected from July 1 thru 15, 2023. The business/restaurant (making prepared burgers) must have been within Wyoming County to be considered or they needed to be a Wyoming County Chamber member. The community then voted for Wyoming County’s Best Burger through the electronic voting from July 17, 2023 until July 31, 2023.
The Chamber & Tourism’s mission is to serve the members and community; promote and grow area economic and tourism assets; and work collaboratively to create an environment that leads to the success and economic prosperity of Wyoming County. The key programs and services of the organization are educational seminars; leadership development; business assistance and guidance; cost-saving opportunities; advocacy; recognition, networking, exposure, and promotional opportunities.
